Family Night
On Sunday night, we involved the kids (and us ) in a fun activity. We took a stack of magazines from all over the house, scissors and some cardstock. We cut out things that appealed to us--things we liked that represented us like our favorite foods or we cut out things we wish to see or do in the future or phrases and quotes that we liked. We glued all of these on the 12x12 sheet of cardstock we each had and then we each presented them to the family and explained why we chose the things we did. Sometimes when you don't know quite how to get the answers to the questions you ask or want to ask, doing an activity like this brings you answers you never even dreamed of. Like, who knew Sam might one day want to work at the Pentagon or that Felicia wishes to see a volcano erupt ?
The photo is of Felicia's board. She loved the saying "Go Bananas". go figure....
The one thing everyone had on their boards except Ellie was a laptop computer ! Steve misses the ones he's had from jobs past and I've never had one and would love to go mobile with my computer !!
