Fish Hatchery

While up in PA this past weekend, we originally had grander plans for Saturday, but the weather all morning was rainy and part of the early afternoon. When it started to clear up, we decided to go to the fish hatchery. In allentown, PA, there is a trout nursery, where they raise fish to eventually be released to the streams, rivers and lakes for fishing. There are SO MANY fish! The kids had never been there before.
Here we are buying the fish food to feed all the fish. They had 1 and 2 dollar bags and baby fish food for fifty cents.
Grandma Helen helps Ellie get some fish food. There are so many fish, when you throw the food in, all you see is fish bodies twist and splash. This made Ellie laugh.

Felicia with her bag of food-she fed her fish in record time and wanted to go buy more food!
